This course is designed to provide an understanding of the Abrasive Wheels regulations and Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 instructing delegates in all aspects of the correct mounting, setting and use of Abrasive Wheels. (Appointed Persons)Construction Site Abrasive wheels can include, Cutting off saws and Angle Grinders the course will be to the operating environment and abrasive wheels being used in the working environment.

- Have an understanding of the Regulations and Legal Obligations
- Demonstrate knowledge and practical application
- Store and handle Abrasive Wheels
- Examine and test wheels for damage
- Set & Dress wheels
- Removal of wheels
- Selection (Inc Marking System), testing & mounting of new wheel
- Resetting rests & guards
- Correct PPE selection & use
- Correct operating techniques relative to the working environment
