Builders Merchant Lift Truck Trainer
This course are normally attended by prospective, or established in company instructors that will only be instructing for their sponsor company
The course is held at the client site to ensure all operating practices within the host company are covered as well as incorporating client company policies and systems.
The Course is fully certificated and a recognised Trainer course. Once the qualification has been achieved, delegates can add other Lift trucks and equipment to their portfolio by completing shorter equipment specific course.

Duration of the course is dependant upon the number of delegates and their experience levels or other qualifications. Delegates must hold recognised lift truck operator certification, ideally for at least 6 months prior to this course Initial instructor courses are usually conducted Counterbalance forklifts, once an instructor has qualified they can instruct on any of the 42 truck types providing they have completed a recognised basic operator course for that truck. |

Notes | Certification is issued for 5 years, after which time a 3 or 4 day re registration course must be undertaken to retain certification. The qualification is awarded when candidates can pass all nine of the course assessments, this is achieved on a continual assessment basis. There is no single end test situation which can overwhelm candidates and does not necessarily reflect an overall ability. |
